"i bought these vintage Levi jeans & as you can imagine, they were all super stiff like they had been sitting around for a while. i fabric softened them & was in the process of de-stiffening, stretching them out, etc., & long story short, i broke the zipper & button in the process. these were so close to being perfect & i was leaving for the weekend, looking forward to wearing these black Levi's that i've been looking for so long, & i was pretty disappointed that i wouldn't be able to anymore. i took the jeans to Express Alterations right after they opened hoping that they would be able to repair them the same day after reading some reviews claiming that they did so. i work in the one week turnaround service industry so i can understand the annoyance & unnecessary stress of one day turnarounds but i offered to pay triple the price * to have the repaired the same day. their promised time was 5PM & as promised, they were ready by 5PM & they ended up charging me their standard price. i insisted that they take the up-charge for the excellent service, granted i'm coming from a tailor who kept my garments for up to THREE MONTHS, but they just told me to keep coming back & i certainly will !
* the cost of repairing the zipper & button was $25 & i offered them $60 for same day repair"

"I needed my suit jacket practically remade because it was very loose around the arms and torso. Hassan was able to shorten the sleeves and tighten the torso and sleeves very quickly, done in one day. The cuts cannot be noticed by someone looking at the jacket. Very generous man, thank you!"

"Been getting alterations, on my uniform pants, here for a few years now. Does high quality, inexpensive, work. Done same day if I need it. Excellent work!"

"This is my second time having work clothes altered here. The first time was a year and a half ago and I had less than a week to find a suit that fit for a new job I was starting. Thrift store and Hassan and his team to the rescue, I was looking sharp! Today, after being able to buy more suits (not from the thrift store this time!) I stopped in to have the pants shortened. I figured I was going to drop them off and pick them up in a few days. Nope, Hassan and the seamstress got them done while I waited which was probably a whole 15 minutes! The best part is the original suit from a year and a half ago is still holding up perfectly. I just wore the elbows out."
